Our Branch Assistant are hands-on and work closely with the Branch Manager and in day-to-day depot operations. A part of your day will be serving both new and existing customers from our thriving trade counter, always delivering excellent service and driving sales where possible. You will be using our computer system to locate stock & process customer orders and provide timely and accurate pricing. Your duties will also include:

• Assisting and actioning customer enquires
• Processing of sales orders & quotations
• Identifying, sourcing & component selections for projects
• Assist with depot stock control and distribution of van stock items for service engineers
• Day to day operation of hydraulic trade counter
• Assist with the promotional of products and services
• Provide prompt customer service to the highest standards
• Completing general administration duties
• Logistics co ordination of a small number of Mobile breakdown vans
  
  You will need a hands-on, customer focused approach and be confident and happy to serve customers on a busy trade counter and proactively engage with potential future customers. As our Depot Assistant, you will have had previous experience in a similar customer facing role, perhaps in another industry.
Whilst not essential, previous knowledge of hydraulic & pneumatic components will be a distinct advantage. Driving licence is not essential but will be a substantial advantage, as form time to time, we may need you to assist with deliveries to our customers/engineers
