As a highly regarded Tier 1 Contractor, Kier Design boasts a robust team of over 750 design consultants and has been recognized as a Top 30 employer on Glassdoor., Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in our Mechanical team, delivering mechanical design for large, complex construction projects. Here's what your day-to-day will look like:
Provide high-quality mechanical designs and specifications that meet client requirements.
Lead all professional services related to mechanical design for allocated projects and clients.
Represent mechanical engineering in project design meetings, establishing solutions and agreeing on concepts.
Ensure delivery of coordinated design solutions that comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Promote and implement sustainable design solutions while identifying and resolving technical and logistical challenges.

Holds a Degree in Mechanical Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and is a member of CIBSE or IET.
Is a Chartered Engineer or is working towards becoming chartered.
Has extensive experience in their discipline with a high level of knowledge.
Can communicate complex technical concepts in a way that's easy for a wider business audience to understand.
Is experienced in applying quality procedures and document control in engineering design.
