They may have substantial informational, emotional and personal needs. This post involves giving and receiving highly complex and sensitive information. Flexibility is required as Clinic Workload and Patient Emotional Response is unpredictable and patients may require rapid access to the breast care service. National Targets/Standards in relation to Breast Cancer Care have a yearly review. This requires a yearly response from the Breast Care Team. Involvement in the Cancer Network is expected in this role.
