An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commissioning Support Officer to join our Strategic Commissioning team at Hampshire County Council. The Strategic Commissioning Team plays an important role in helping to ensure the care and support needs of residents of Hampshire can be met. Responsible for both shaping the care market within Hampshire and overseeing providers contractual obligations, the team works in partnership with a variety of stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for Hampshire's residents.The Role: The past few years has brought into even sharper focus the importance of building and maintaining strong working relationships with independent providers, working across Hampshire to deliver care to some of our most vulnerable residents. As we face continuing cost pressures and changes to ways of working, we will need to maintain and review how we work with the market to respond to these challenges, while continuing to ensure that we maintain high standards of care delivery. We are looking for an individual who will bring the right blend of strategic, commercial and relationship building skills to this role, to ensure that we are working with our partners in the right way to meet the departments strategic objectives. The primary focus for this role will be working with our Care Home Framework (CHF) providers but also supporting into our Short-Term Services (STS) providers. You will be based in our offices in Winchester 1 day a week on a specified day, working in a hybrid way the rest of the time; including travel across the County to visit providers.What you'll do:

• Support and maintain relationships with our CHF and STS providers
• Manage supplier performance and contract compliance
• Support operational colleagues with local issues
• Manage CHF, STS and other data on a weekly basis
