Full Job Description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Rhondda Cynon Taf to assist with the appointment of an Administrative Assistant, on a 2-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration., We are seeking a proactive and organised Administrative Assistant to join our Business Support team. The role will provide high-quality administrative, reception, and telephony services to support the Highways and Streetcare Services teams. You will act as the first point of contact for both internal and external customers, ensuring that all enquiries, service requests, and complaints are handled efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities:

Deliver excellent customer service through telephony, reception, and administrative support.

Provide advice and information to customers, book requested services, and record complaints accurately.
Handle telephone enquiries in line with established procedures for each service area.
Maintain effective working relationships with council departments and external organisations.
Perform general administrative duties, including faxing, filing, photocopying, typing, mail handling, and data input.
Knowledge

Knowledge of administration and customer service principles.
Experience Required:

Experience in data processing and data input.
