The Residential Conveyancer will play a key role within the Residential Property department, managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and department heads while maintaining high standards of client care and compliance throughout the transaction process. The day-to-day job duties within this role include:

Overseeing a varied caseload of residential property matters from initial instruction through to completion
Preparing and processing legal documents associated with residential transactions
Acting as a key point of contact for clients and third parties throughout the conveyancing process
Reviewing legal paperwork and identifying any issues requiring further investigation
Coordinating property searches and communicating outcomes to clients where appropriate
Managing financial documentation connected to transactions, including mortgage and redemption information
Supporting the progression of matters through exchange and completion stages
Carrying out client due diligence and anti-money laundering checks in line with compliance requirements
Assisting with post-completion matters and Land Registry submissions
Preparing and submitting SDLT documentation where required
Maintaining accurate file management and ensuring records are updated consistently

The successful Residential Conveyancer will have previous experience handling a residential property caseload independently and will enjoy working within a collaborative and client-focused team environment.
