Serious Injury Solicitor

Eventus Legal are seeking a Serious Injury Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive to join a specialist claimant law firm in Warwick, Warwickshire. This is a full-time, permanent job position with a 35-hour working week, with a salary of up to £60,000 depending on experience and PQE. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a low-volume, high-quality serious injury caseload within a collaborative team focused on exceptional client outcomes rather than individual billing targets.Role ResponsibilitiesThis Serious Injury Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive position will involve handling significant claimant personal injury work while supporting the continued development of the team and junior colleagues. Key responsibilities will
include:Managing your own claimant serious injury caseload, with case values and complexity appropriate to your experience.Leading and assisting on cases valued up to approximately £500,000, including claims involving spinal injury, brain injury and amputation.Assisting colleagues on higher-value and more complex serious injury matters where appropriate.Supervising, coaching and mentoring one or two paralegals or trainees within the team.Working collaboratively with colleagues across the teams to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.Working proactively towards an average of six chargeable hours per day across the working week, with no individual billing target.Maintaining high standards of client care, communication and case management throughout each matter.Contributing to the firm's regional profile through professional networking and external events as required.Person SpecificationThe firm is looking for an experienced claimant personal injury lawyer who can combine strong
technical ability with a collaborative and supportive approach. You should also be able to demonstrate the following:A minimum of four years' PQE as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive, or equivalent relevant post-qualification experience.Essential claimant personal injury experience, including experience of leading and assisting on serious injury cases up to approximately £500,000.A strong legal foundation in serious injury and personal injury work, with experience of working to targets and KPIs.The ability to supervise, coach, mentor and line manage junior colleagues.Experience of using a legal case management system.Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across teams and offices.The flexibility to travel when required, with a full driving licence and access to a car.Business development experience would be advantageous but is not essential.Benefits and RewardsThis
