Signing a contract is the easy part. Everything before it (multiple parties, several legal documents, opposing interests, a redlining process most companies still run through email attachments) is where contracting actually gets hard. We want you shipping against it while you're forming your own view of the problem, then tell us which parts of it were wrong. Ship against the contract workflow roadmap in your first few weeks.
