Full Job Description

The role of a Part Time Senior Support Worker at Elysium Healthcare's Community Houses in Keighley is to provide compassionate and skilled care for adults with complex mental health needs. You will be responsible for supporting individuals to lead a full and valued life, helping them develop independent living skills and promoting their recovery journey. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives while developing your own career., As a Part Time Senior Support Worker, you will be part of a qualified and experienced team that supports people with mental health conditions. You will work across four community houses in the Keighley area, assisting service users with their daily activities, contributing to their recovery plans, promoting independence and empowerment, and administering medication. The role may involve some lone working, medication administration, and contributing to Care Programme Approach (CPA) meetings, so previous experience in these areas is preferred. You will need strong empathy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deal with challenging behaviors in a positive and professional manner.
