As a Merchandiser, you'll visit existing key newsagents on a rota basis, ensuring the Eastern Daily Press and Dereham & Fakenham Times are displayed effectively, and that promotional material is current, up-to-date, and projects the image that a modern regional newspaper would expect. 

Key Responsibilities

• Make frequent visits to retailers as per your call cycle.
• Ensure our newspapers and magazines are displayed effectively and that all point-of-sale materials are current and promote the titles. 
• Report back any opportunities to supply extra copies so that we have full availability every week without over-supplying. 
• As and when possible, identify potential new retail outlets and discuss with your Manager.
• Communicate, when necessary, with the editorial team, reporting back any opportunities. 

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• You will be a strong face-to-face communicator and be self-motivated, as this role is primarily solo-based with the support of a remote team. 
• Every day is different, and so you'll be flexible whilst also being determined to get the job done and achieve targets. 
• Ideally, living in West Norfolk (not a necessity), you will have the ability to make 20 to 25 retailer visits in any given day. 
• Please note, you must hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle insured for business purposes.
