Full Job Description
This role is focused on supporting the Product Development team and in turn, the development of product and experience initiatives across the Harry Potter franchise. Working with key internal and external partners, you will assist the team with best-in-class product launches, faithfully representing J.K. Rowling and her work, reflecting the Harry Potter brand values and protecting the longevity, integrity and legacy of the franchise for generations to come.,
- Support and assist the Product Development team across the full portfolio of categories including, but not limited to, global themed experiences, publishing, games, audio and unscripted television.
- Work alongside the Product Development team to ensure approvals and feedback on submissions across the franchise are delivered in a swift and efficient manner, ensuring products remain faithful to the Harry Potter canon, values, and brand guidelines in all aspects of creative development.
- Act as a key coordinator between the Product Development team and both internal and external stakeholders.
- Update and manage general processes for administration, presentations and communication for the Product Development team. This would include all HP franchise primers, guidelines and team management tools.
- Support the reviewal of online editorial content including quizzes and features and play through new mobile game builds.
- Ensure all product launches and key dates are kept up to date within the tracking document.
- Provide occasional diary management and meeting support, including preparing agendas and taking minutes when required.
- Support the Product Development team on workshops and key events for stakeholders.
- Responsibility for the maintenance of product samples, new office displays and storage.
- Conduct competitor research and update the team on industry trends while also identifying new opportunities. Contribute to ideation meetings by bringing findings to the team for potential further exploration.
Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written. - Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with a creative and innovative approach to problem-solving.
- Strong organisation skills - capable of managing multiple projects, timelines and stakeholders efficiently.
- Strong team player who works collaboratively with both internal and external partners, while supporting others and contributing to a positive team dynamic.
- Ability to work autonomously, remaining agile and proactive when prioritising projects within a fast-paced, evolving work environment.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Genuine passion for the Harry Potter stories and developing best in class products and experiences.
