PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £30,000 - £40,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. Developing strong working relationships with colleagues and public service as well as BBC Studios stakeholders is crucial to ensuring that creative content aligns with overarching BBC brand strategies.WHY JOIN THE TEAM We are currently seeking a Marketing Executive to join the BBC News Marketing team. The Marketing Executive will work both independently or closely with a Marketing Manager depending on the project. The role primarily involves aiding in promotional campaign strategies for the BBC News channel which includes, development and execution of broadcast assets for the UK and global audiences.YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:Work to develop and deliver creative marketing broadcast assets alongside in-house and external creative partners. Work alongside Media Planning in the UK and the presentation planning team for the global streams of the News channel on development and execution of media strategy. Work with colleagues to ensure campaigns are delivered on-time and on-budget. Feed-in to selection of content priorities against key business objectives. Develop working relationships with and manage stakeholders across the business throughout the development and execution of marketing campaigns. Lead creation and implementation of reporting processes within your portfolio. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEESSENTIAL CRITERIA:Managing and delivering marketing campaigns, including evaluation. event Production experience A broadcasting background or experience with TV production process Organised and efficient in a fast moving, often reactive environment. Strong project management skills, ability to prioritise deadlines A keen interest and understanding of domestic and global news.DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:Able to critically evaluate ideas and information.
