Full Job Description
As an Environmental Support & Enforcement Officer, you'll patrol the borough, engage with the community, educate on environmental issues, and enforce legislation by issuing Fixed Penalty Notices when necessary.,
- Patrolling: Follow an agreed deployment strategy to patrol the borough.
- Investigating: Address complaints from the community and report findings to your Team Manager.
- Educating: Raise awareness about environmental crime and the importance of community participation in keeping the borough clean.
- Enforcing: Interact with offenders and issue Fixed Penalty Notices for relevant offences.
- Learning: Stay well-versed in legislation through our bespoke Enviro Crime Induction Course.
- Documenting: Maintain thorough notebook entries and witness statements for each issuance.
Effective Communicator: Comfortable engaging with the public, even in challenging situations. - Team Player: Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically Fit: Capable of prolonged foot patrols in all weather conditions.
- Detail-Oriented: Clear and concise in writing reports.
- Proactive: Able to use initiative in carrying out duties.
- Trained: Willing to complete our Enviro Crime Induction Course and demonstrate competence in independent patrols.
