Full Job Description
The London Borough of Havering is looking to recruit a Senior Talent Consultant support the Talent Manager in the design and delivery of high-quality solutions across all aspects of talent management: attraction, identification, development, engagement, and deployment, ensuring future workforce needs are addressed, with the right number of people with the right skills, employed in the right place at the right time, managing the balance between strategic and operational support for your stakeholders. If successful in your application for the role of Senior Talent Consultant, London Borough of Havering, you will/will be:
- Deputise for the Head of Talent, as required.
- Support the work of the Talent team to provide high quality solutions which enable delivery of the talent strategy. This will include responsibility of projects and activities in relation to one or more of the following areas: workforce planning, resourcing, building talent pools, succession planning, career management, and employee engagement.
- Lead the development and maintenance of policy, guidance and procedures which enable managers to carry out their people management responsibilities in relation to talent management.
- Lead the implementation of talent strategies through the provision of up-to-date advice and guidance, in a way that positively influences the employee's experience.
- Ensure all process and administration requirements are delivered, ensuring all activities are completed on time and relevant records are maintained. Ensure documentation and records are maintained, in line with service requirements.
- Manage the development and delivery of a range of talent activities in one or more of the following areas:
- Attracting talent - employer brand and employee value proposition o Develop and maintain corporate information and supporting tools that ensure Havering council is an attractive place to work
- Resourcing talent - executive recruitment, temporary/interim solutions, internal redeployment
- Identifying talent - workforce planning and succession planning.
