Where will you be working? At M Group Telecom, were enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future. We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators. Private networks- We find the best technology, manage assets and refresh systems. With 24/7 network operations, we keep things running smoothly, while operating comprehensive network repair and maintenance to keep everything in top shape. Want to come and be a part of it? What will you be doing? Youll apply knowledge of fibre and networking principles to ensure project completion across various customer sites including sub-stations, power plants, data centres, control centres, and others. Youll ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety and company quality standards, including end-to-end circuit testing, installation, and commissioning of telecoms equipment. Youll undertake site surveys, installations, and audits as per schedules set by management. Youll be responsible for all contractors under our RAMS, acting as Principal Contractor and Competent Person on site. Youll escalate incidents to the H&S and Line Manager as needed. Additionally, youll complete training promptly, maintain assigned tools and equipment, and suggest improvements and cost-saving opportunities.

Full UK driving licence required for travel to customer sites. Eligible for Security Clearance British nationality with 5 years of continuous UK employment. Team player with experience in site surveys. Skilled in installation, glanding, termination, and testing of SWA power cables, Cat 5/6, Belden, 50-pair copper, and fibre looms. Experienced in telecom equipment and DC power system installation. Exposure to data/control centres, racking, stacking, patching, and labelling. Desirable: Experience in comms rooms at substations/power stations, FOX/Ericsson card installation, SFPs, fibre patching, Fault finding, report and maintain FOX Multiplexer, Eltek power supplies and optical equipment. Good interpersonal and communication skills Experience in Installation and commissioning of Forced Air Cooling in Optel cubicles, including FOX alarm mods and testing.
