Full Job Description
- Attend breakdowns and ensure downtime is kept to a minimum
- Undertake planned maintenance in accordance with the agreed schedule
- Monitor and record downtime for improvement purposes
- Perform basic troubleshooting of control systems circuitry
- Enter accurate, detailed feedback on all ongoing and completed tasks into the planned maintenance system system on a daily basis.
- Identify and source / obtain required parts, supplies and repair items as required
- Maintain equipment and repair / replace as required
· At least 2 years' experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment - preferably within a textile / similar environment · Formal apprenticeship or equivalent in relevant field (electrical or mechanical) e.g. HND/HNC · C&G 17th Edition qualification / equivalent mechanical qualification · Multi-skilled · Ability to analyse and solve complex problems · Flexible in approach and attitude to work · Ability to work effectively in a team and on own initiative · Excellent communications skills · Competent IT skills including outlook, windows and excel
