Monkspath School is looking to appoint a fun, proactive and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and experienced nursery team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of our Early Years provision, working with 2-5 year-olds in a positive, values-driven school community.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting high-quality provision in our nursery setting, leading engaging activities for individuals and groups - including children with SEND and those with Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs). This role includes providing intimate medical care (training and support will be fully provided), including clean intermittent catheterisation for a child with a medical condition.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a passion for working with young children and a nurturing, inclusive approach
  • Has experience in Early Years, including supporting children with additional needs
  • Understands how children learn and can support key early development in literacy, maths and personal skills
  • Has high expectations, a positive outlook, and the ability to inspire learning
  • Is flexible, proactive and works effectively as part of a collaborative team
  • Is committed to our school values and ethos
  • Is willing and able to provide intimate care with professionalism, empathy and discretion (full training provided)
  • Holds a relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)

We can offer:

  • Enthusiastic, well-behaved children who are eager to learn
  • A warm, vibrant and committed staff team
  • A school culture grounded in respect, individuality and kindness
  • Strong support from senior leaders, governors and parents
  • Ongoing professional development and opportunities to grow your practice

If you are committed to making a positive difference in children's lives and would enjoy working as part of our values-led school community, we'd love to hear from you.
