Full Job Description
Wilsden, located in the London Borough of Brent, where you will work closely with students who are at risk of exclusion or have been temporarily removed from mainstream classes. Your role will be to support them in reflecting on their behaviour, re-engaging with learning, and making informed, ambitious and aspirational decisions about their futures.You will play a crucial part in promoting a positive and inclusive school culture, helping to reduce exclusions and supporting students to return successfully to the classroom.Main Areas of ResponsibilityYour responsibilites will include:Supervising and supporting students in internal exclusionDesigning and delivering tailored curriculum and reintegration plansDeveloping bespoke behaviour and support programmesLiaising with staff, parents/carers and external providers to ensure smooth transitionsMaintaining a calm and purposeful learning environmentFollowing up on truancy and attendance concernsReducing risk of permanent exclusion through
alternative curriculum and interventionsModelling positive behaviour and setting clear conduct expectationsEnforcing the Academy's code of conduct and behaviour policiesInvestigating behavioural incidents and escalating concerns appropriatelyEnsuring timely reporting of safeguarding and bullying issuesLeading on behavioural intervention strategies, including multi-agency collaborationUpholding health and safety policies and completing risk assessmentsMaintaining confidential records of student supportLeading safeguarding cases and attending case conferences as directedQualifications & ExperienceWe would like to hear from you if you have:Knowledge of student welfare issues, including attendance, child protection and health-related concernsExperience working in welfare services, social services or educational settingsStrong ICT skills and a willingness to undertake training to support effective administration and communicationThe ability to use and adapt MIS and other ICT
