Full Job Description
Qualified School & College Careers Adviser (Doncaster)- onsite delivery only.We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Career Adviser to join our team for 40 days delivery in term time, starting in September 2025.
- Provide high-quality careers education, information, advice, and guidance to students.
- Support the Careers Lead in achieving and maintaining the Gatsby Benchmarks.
- Ensure CEIAG Google Classrooms are regularly updated with current Labour Market Information (LMI) and relevant resources. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' futures in a supportive school environment.You will have:
- Level 6 qualification in careers guidance (CIAG)
- Experience of working with young people preferably in a school or college setting
- Thorough knowledge of education, employment, training and personal development opportunities that are available for young people/labour market information.
- Provide careers advice and guidance in a one-to-one setting or group workshop/assemblies to support students with their career aspirations.
- Arrange career talks and a range of activities for students.
- Have the ability to engage with and inspire young people with SEND and disadvantaged as well as with their parents/carers.
- Support the Schools or College Careers Leader to implement and enhance the schools programme to contribute towards meetings the Gatsby Benchmarks.
- Demonstrate professional commitment to Children's rights, equal opportunities and diversity.
- Undertake administration duties to ensure that all delivery evidence is complete and compliant in line with contract and quality standards.
