As a Teacher at Ysgol Cambrian, you will:

Teach pupils in line with the school's curriculum, planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
Adapt teaching to meet individual educational, personal and social needs
Assess, record and report on pupil progress and attainment
Promote pupils' wellbeing and positive behaviour, maintaining high standards of care, discipline, health and safety
Provide guidance and support to pupils and communicate effectively with parents and carers
Work collaboratively with colleagues, external agencies and support staff
Contribute to meetings, reviews, appraisal processes and whole-school development
Take part in professional learning and continuous professional development
Undertake administrative and organisational responsibilities in line with the role

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Can motivate pupils and maintain positive behaviour
Have a strong understanding of pupil needs and the ability to adapt teaching accordingly
Can work collaboratively and follow agreed procedures
Are flexible, reflective and committed to inclusive practice
Are committed to equal opportunities
Have excellent organisational and communication skills
Have a strong working knowledge of ICT
Are committed to ongoing professional development
