Multiple Teaching Assistant vacancies available Ysgol Cambrian is a brand new 3-19 Additional Learning Needs (ALN) school opening in September 2026 in Clydach Vale. We are seeking to appoint multiple Teaching Assistants to join our founding staff team and play a vital role in shaping an inclusive, nurturing and aspirational learning environment from the very beginning. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a newly established school designed to meet the diverse needs of learners with a wide range of additional learning needs, supporting them to achieve their full potential academically, socially and emotionally., As a Teaching Assistant at Ysgol Cambrian, you will:
- Support pupils with a range of ALN across the 3-19 age range
- Work closely with teachers and specialist staff to deliver personalised learning programmes
- Support communication, independence, wellbeing and positive behaviour
- Contribute to a safe, caring and inclusive learning environment
Have a passion for working with children or young people with ALN - Are caring, patient, resilient and committed to inclusion
- Can work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Are willing to undertake training to meet the needs of learners
- Have a positive, flexible and proactive approach to supporting pupils
