Full Job Description

Providing full administrative support to acute mental health inpatient ward, including, keeping electronic recording systems up to date and accurate. Following processes to support admissions and discharges to the ward. Functional admin duties to ensure a smooth running of the ward including maintaining stationery, printing, photocopying, filing, handling post, taking calls and messages. Providing cover for annual leave and occasions of unplanned leave.

The Ward Clerk role is integral to the smooth and accurate running of an inpatient ward. The post holder will be part of a Team that aim to provide care and treatment to adults requiring support. The role is varied and a flexible enthusiastic attitude is essential to this post. The successful candidate will enjoy working in busy environments, and have the ability to manage their own workload, Applicant must be able to demonstrate at a least 12 months experience of working within a similar role within NHS or Private sector.
