Full Job Description

We're looking for a Team Assistant to provide essential administrative and file management support to our Birmingham Real Estate team., As a Team Assistant, you'll deliver a responsive, service-based administrative function to our plot sales Real Estate team in Birmingham. Work will come either directly from fee earners or through tasks allocated by the Practice Assistants, and you'll be responsible for building and maintaining strong working relationships with the team you support, consistently translating their needs into a high-quality service. What you'll be doing

  • Supporting fee earners in the plot sales Real Estate team with day-to-day matters, including file management - updating, maintaining and correctly filing documents in line with the firm's naming conventions - and opening and closing matters on the relevant document and case management systems.
  • Assisting with financial and billing support for allocated fee earners, including billing administration and expenses.
  • Providing broader team support including assisting with the organisation of internal and external events, managing room and courier bookings, and creating and uploading information to client data rooms in line with instructions from the lawyer and PA.

    Relevant office-based administration experience, with an intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • An effective communicator who is customer service focused, with the ability to liaise with internal and external clients in a professional manner and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail, the ability to manage your own time effectively in a fast-paced environment, and a conscientious approach - taking personal responsibility for the quality and delivery of your work.
