Full Job Description

To support teaching and learning by assisting teachers in delivering education and care to pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours. The Teaching Assistant will embody the EPIC values and adhere strictly to the Staff Code of Conduct to create a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment that promotes pupil wellbeing and achievement.,

  • Support and mentor students with their learning in class, at home, and through outdoor activities
  • Help prepare materials and support lessons, focusing on behaviour management
  • Write daily reports on student progress and challenges
  • Regularly communicate with parents and caregivers

    A committed and passionate view of students with SEND and SEMH
  • At least two years' experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision
  • A level 3 TA qualification is advantageous, We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All posts require an enhanced DBS check.

    South Park Enterprise College is an independent SEMH specialist school for students aged 11-16, many with EHCPs and diagnoses such as ADHD or ASD. We provide a safe, nurturing environment for young people who have struggled in mainstream schools or face exclusion.
