The successful post holder will:-
- Be an inspirational teacher with a proven track record of success.

- Have the ability to inspire, engage and enthuse students, staff and the wider community.
- Have a professional drive, energy, determination and aspiration.
- Collaborate and work with key leaders across school to support further school improvement.
- A well established and confident musician including singing.
- Strong subject knowledge and advanced theory knowledge (Grade 5 theory minimum) to assist with high end composition.
- Able to lead/conduct extra-curricular ensembles.
- Willing to contribute to the department's enrichment opportunities such as a yearly European tour, daily extra-curricular sessions after school, 4-5 concerts a year and trips.
- Support the Curriculum Leader in Primary Transition work.
- Innovative in curriculum contribution.
- Competence in using music software such as Sibelius, Garage Band and Logic Pro.
