The successful post holder will:-

• Be an inspirational teacher with a proven track record of success.

• Have the ability to inspire, engage and enthuse students, staff and the wider community.

• Collaborate and work with key leaders across school to support further school improvement.
• A well established and confident musician including singing.
• Strong subject knowledge and advanced theory knowledge (Grade 5 theory minimum) to assist with high end composition.
• Able to lead/conduct extra-curricular ensembles.
• Willing to contribute to the department's enrichment opportunities such as a yearly European tour, daily extra-curricular sessions after school, 4-5 concerts a year and trips.
• Support the Curriculum Leader in Primary Transition work.
• Innovative in curriculum contribution.
• Competence in using music software such as Sibelius, Garage Band and Logic Pro.
