Specialist Radiographer

You will work as part of our friendly teams to provide a high quality, responsive diagnostic and therapeutic service delivering excellent patient care in line with our Trust core values. As a specialist radiographer, you will be expected to maintain high clinical standards and share this practice with colleagues and students.You must have excellent communication and organisational skills, a commitment to CPD and a practical knowledge of radiation protection, legislation, and health & safety requirements. A flexible approach to working is required. Above all, patient care must be at the forefront of your practice.Our department supports role extension; we have experienced radiographers reporting the axial & appendicular skeleton, and chest & abdominal images. We are keen to explore other advanced practice within the department.

We are equipped with two GE systems, an IGE 520S in the Cath Lab, a GE Allia IGS7 in the Interventional suite and a Canon Ultimax i for general fluoroscopy.The ideal candidate would have experience of working in Interventional radiology and or cardiology but not essential as training will be provided.Our Imaging Department has a wide range of DR imaging modalities and has a Trust wide PACS.
