Senior Product Stewardship Engineer (m / f / x)

As a Senior Product Stewardship Engineer located at our UK HQ in Bracknell, Berkshire you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Being a trusted regulatory partner to the business by translating complex product compliance requirements into clear, practical guidance to support successful commercialisation.
• Leading the daily compliance task of approving new 3M products intended for the UK and EU market by ensuring documentation relating to local requirements are fulfilled.
• Working closely with internal and external customers and within the EMEA Product Stewardship team to manage enquiries on regulatory aspects of 3M products. Example, UK specific requirements, REACH, RoHS, Biocidal Products Regulation, Conflict Minerals, compositional data, etc.
• Contribute to digital transformation and process simplification by identifying opportunities to improve workflows, data quality, automation, and regulatory information management.
• Prepare and maintain product compliance documentation such as declarations, regulatory statements, customer responses, and internal assessment records.
• Stay ahead of changing regulatory landscapes by monitoring new requirements, assessing product impacts, and sharing practical insights with business teams.
  
  To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:
• Solid understanding of EU and UK product compliance requirements
• Strong preference for candidates with prior experience supporting compliance and other relevant product stewardship or regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret regulations and translate them into clear, practical business guidance
• Bachelor's/Master's degree, technical (e.g. Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental, Material Science, etc.)

• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and capable of dealing with short deadlines

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to drive projects to completion
• Nordic languages would be advantageous
