Full Job Description

We are looking for a Reception & Central Services Assistant to join our busy Central Services team who play a vital part in providing a support function to the staff of the Lyons Davidson Group. The successful candidate will be required to work from our central Bristol office., Our Central Services Department is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, flexible, adaptable and diligent individual to join the team. The role covers a variety of tasks, providing front of house reception assistance, greeting clients and contractors attending the office, answering and forwarding on calls incoming calls to the switchboard, action incoming e-mails and provide support to the wider Central Services Team with various administration requests. In addition to the above the role will also involve:

  • Provide refreshments for meetings as per request.
  • Greeting callers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Providing great client service by quickly establishing the purpose of the call and effectively transferring calls to the correct individual or wider team member, usually a case handler.
  • Understanding the immediate needs of clients which may involve collating important and accurate information.
  • General administration duties which could include, actioning various enquiries and e-mails to the business and forwarding them on to the relevant department, Use of various bespoke Applications, Top Desk Requests received from case handlers.
  • Actioning Top Desk Direct Printing Requests Allocated to you, ensuring adhere to requirements of request.
  • Confidential destruction of scanned papers after an agreed period.
  • Actioning Top Desk Scanning queries allocated to you.
  • Assisting with the despatch of outward post.
  • To assist with general administration including Stationery
  • To action direct printing requests in accordance with the Instructions Received.
  • Create and Print "Click and Drop" Postage label as and when required.
  • To assist with deposits and retrieval from the deeds store as requested, and that records are kept in good order.
  • To provide support to all members of the central services team

    You will have the ability to work accurately and efficiently, have excellent communication skills, good people skills and a flexible attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • You must be computer literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word. You must have the ability to work unsupervised., Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable but not essential., A good standard of education including Maths and English.
