Full Job Description

With dedicated teaching professionals across a variety of subject areas, we are seeking a passionate and ambitious Programme Leader to join our team based at our Scarborough campus. Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation?, The faculty of Creative and Digital are now looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Programme Leader in Music to join the well-established team. This is a fast-paced and diverse role, in which you will work closely with other Programme Leaders and the Head of Faculty to provide high quality teaching, learning and assessment. The role is based at our Scarborough TEC campus. Other duties will include:

  • Developing an innovative curriculum linked to industry
  • Teaching, learning and assessment in line with awarding body and TEC partnership standards
  • Maintaining records
  • Analysing data and producing reports using a range of systems
  • Meeting with parents and attending other college events

    The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, occupational competence in the Music industry, and relevant industry qualifications.
  • Candidates should also have:
  • Level 2/GCSE Maths and English
  • Level 3 Music (or equivalent)
  • Prior experience working in a teaching position
  • Experience of analysing data and writing reports
  • Teaching qualification (or willing to work towards)
