Programme Leader Foundations

With dedicated teaching professionals across a variety of subject areas, we are seeking a passionate and ambitious Programme Leader to join our Foundations team based at our Scarborough campus. Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation? About the role This is a rewarding and diverse role, where you will work closely with other Programme Leaders, Managers, and support staff to deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences. You will play a key role in supporting learners with a range of needs to develop their skills, confidence, and independence. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive lessons to Foundation Learning students. Support learners to achieve individual targets, including academic, personal, and employability goals. Assess student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide timely feedback. Contribute to the development of engaging and differentiated learning materials. Work collaboratively with support staff to meet the needs of learners with additional needs. Monitor attendance, behaviour, and progress, implementing strategies to support student success. Participate in meetings, parents' evenings, reviews, and college events. Provide tutorial support, including pastoral care and guidance.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with a focus on Foundation Learning as well as strong organisation and administrative skills. Candidates should also have: Level 2/GCSE Maths and English Level 3 in a teaching discipline similar or in foundation learning Prior experience of working within a foundation area Experience or involvement in understanding safeguarding
