Duties of this Panel Beater role



  • Repair or replace damaged vehicle body panels in accordance with manufacturer specifications

  • Dismantle and reassemble vehicle structures, chassis, and frameworks efficiently and safely

  • Use appropriate tools, jigs, and fixtures to ensure precise repair work meeting safety standards

  • Attend continuous training on the latest repair techniques and technological advancements

  • Maintain high standards of quality and ensure customer satisfaction with every repair

  • Keep the workshop clean, safe, and well-maintained

  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, communicating repair progress and additional work required

  • Support junior team members and contribute to a positive workshop environment


Requirements of this Panel Beater position



  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Vehicle Panel Repair and Replacement

  • Knowledge of welding, jigging, and structural repair techniques

  • Familiarity with modern repair technologies, including aluminium and high-strength steel

  • Attention to detail with a commitment to high workmanship standards

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, COSHH, and workshop protocols

  • Reliable, punctual, and professionally presented

  • Ideally holds IMI Accreditation in Panel Beating and a willingness to undertake further professional development
