Full Job Description
Our busy Environmental Services depot is now looking for a confident and organised Operational Support Officer to join the team.,
- Be an efficient and effective administrator and will have experience in:
- Maintain accurate and up to date records through the use of I.T systems.
- Answer telephone and email queries in a timely, professional and calm manner.
- Raise purchase orders
- Deal with financial queries relating to purchases.
- Maintain stock management of equipment
- Perform general administrative duties - filing, photocopying and scanning., The two councils have a shared Chief Executive and a joint senior management team. Whilst they retain their own political structures and distinct identities, the joint management structure allows us to maximise the opportunity to deliver a wide range of good value services to our customers and communities, and operate and develop shared services, collaborative working and partnership arrangements with each other, with other councils and with key stakeholders
Previous experience of providing administrative support to a busy team. - Experience of dealing with members of the public in a professional capacity.
- Strong telephone and email customer service experience
- Experience in financial administration
