Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to step into a senior role and shape high-quality, early intervention support for children and young people. We welcome applications from qualified practitioners, including EMHPs and CYWPs. You will bring strong expertise in assessment, working with mild to moderate mental health needs, and ideally experience in low-intensity CBT and/or clinical supervision.

You will confidently manage and triage a varied caseload, working collaboratively with schools and families to assess needs and plan effective support. A key part of the role is partnering with school mental health leads to embed a whole-school approach, while delivering workshops for pupils, parents, carers, and staff.

We are a specialist NHS Foundation Trust that provides community, mental health and learning disability services for the people of Barnsley, Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield. We also provide low and medium secure services and are the lead for the west Yorkshire secure provider collaborative.
