Full Job Description

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 Overview We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Junior Office Administrator to join our team supporting railway projects. This is an entry-level position suited to someone who is organised, eager to learn, and confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to the office and project teams. Maintain accurate records and filing systems, both electronic and paper-based. Input, update, and maintain data using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and documents as required. Answer telephone calls, respond to emails, and direct enquiries appropriately. Scan, print, copy, and file project documentation. Assist with document control and ensure records are up to date. Schedule meetings and maintain office

    calendars where required. Order office supplies and maintain stock levels. Support the wider team with general administrative duties and other tasks as required. Requirements Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines. Reliable, punctual, and hardworking with a positive attitude. Willingness to learn and develop within the business. Desirable Previous office administration experience (preferred but not essential). Experience working in a construction, engineering, or railway environment is beneficial but not required. What We Offer Full-time office-based role. Working hours of 08:00-17:00, Monday to Friday.
