HE Digital Technology Lecturer

DN Colleges is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable HE Digital Technology Lecturer to join our Higher Education provision across University Campus North Lincolnshire (UCNL) and University Campus Doncaster (UCDon). This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery and development of Higher Education digital technologies programmes, supporting students to achieve their academic and professional ambitions. Working within a collaborative team, you will deliver engaging teaching, provide academic support and help shape innovative curriculum developments across both campuses. The successful candidate will teach modules at Levels 4 and 5, including Cyber Security, Networking in the Cloud and Programming. You will also work closely with colleagues, external partners and awarding bodies to ensure high-quality teaching, learning and assessment, while contributing to quality assurance and enhancement activities. This is Group role and you will be required to travel between Doncaster College and North Lindsey College,

• Deliver high-quality teaching across Higher Education Digital Technologies programmes.
• Teach modules including Cyber Security, Networking in the Cloud and Programming.
• Provide personal academic support and tutoring to students.
• Participate in curriculum planning, development and programme review activities.
• Contribute to annual programme reports, self-evaluation processes and data analysis.
• Support student engagement initiatives, module evaluations and surveys.
• Prepare programme documentation and maintain quality assurance standards.
• Contribute to Higher Education promotional events and activities.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with university partners, employers and external stakeholders.
• Support student induction, enrolment and ongoing academic success.
• Engage in scholarly activity and continuous professional development.
• Work collaboratively across UCNL and UCDon to enhance the student experience.
  
  Degree or Level 6 qualification in a relevant digital technologies discipline.
• Strong subject knowledge in digital technologies, particularly cyber security and cloud networking.
• Experience of, or the ability to demonstrate understanding of, teaching and supporting undergraduate students.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively to deadlines, performance targets and quality standards., In DN Colleges we call this role HE Digital Technology Lecturer but you might know this as Digital Technologies Lecturer, Computing Lecturer, Cyber Security Lecturer, Cloud Networking Lecturer or Higher Education Computing Lecturer.
• The role is based across both University Campus North Lincolnshire (UCNL) and University Campus Doncaster (UCDon).
• Flexibility is required, including occasional evening working and travel between campuses.
• A full driving licence is essential.
• The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
  
  Salary of £33,787 to £42,766 per annum (Grade 5).
• Permanent, full-time role working 35.5 hours per week.
• 35 days annual leave, plus 8 public holidays and two weeks at Christmas.
