The school is committed to delivering a personalised and inclusive education that promotes engagement, builds confidence, and encourages achievement. Role Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated support to an individual pupil or small group (up to six pupils)
- Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Monitor and report on pupil progress, sharing updates with relevant staff
- Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities, including breaks, trips, and enrichment sessions
- Support lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and resource development
- Contribute to setting and marking work where appropriate
- Build strong, positive relationships to support pupil engagement and progress
A strong standard of education, ideally to A-level, including GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics - Previous experience in a Teaching Assistant or similar role
- Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs within an educational setting (desirable)
- Confidence in behaviour management strategies
- Ability to take initiative and contribute to wider school activities (e.g. lunchtime support, Forest School, wellbeing initiatives)
- A commitment to ongoing professional development
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check prior to starting
