Full Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking Teaching & Learning Team at the forefront of digital innovation. You will play a key role in supporting the development of high-quality, digitally enhanced learning across the college, working with staff and students to embed effective use of everyday technologies and immersive approaches, including VR and immersive technology.
You will gain hands-on experience in digital content creation, classroom innovation and the use of emerging technologies, while also supporting the setup, maintenance and safe use of digital and immersive equipment. This role offers the opportunity to develop valuable skills, contribute to a college-wide digital strategy and be part of creating a modern, engaging and future-focused learning environment. About You You are enthusiastic about digital technology and keen to develop your skills in a real-world educational environment. You have a genuine interest in how technology can enhance learning and are curious about emerging tools such as AI, VR and interactive platforms. You are proactive, reliable and willing to learn, with the confidence to work with a range of people including staff and students. You enjoy problem-solving, are organised in your approach and take pride in supporting others to use technology effectively. You are motivated to develop your expertise and contribute positively to a team focused on innovation and continuous improvement.,
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent Level 2 qualification)
- Interest in digital technologies and willingness to develop skills in areas such as AI, VR and digital content creation
- Confidence using basic digital tools and systems (e.g. Microsoft 365 or similar platforms)
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support colleagues and students
- Willingness to learn, take initiative and work collaboratively as part of a team
- Attention to detail, particularly when supporting equipment, systems and digital resources
- Commitment to equality, diversity and creating inclusive learning environments
Working week: 37 Hours, Monday to Thursday 8.30am-5.00pm, Friday 8.30am-4.30pm.
