Introduction

Tetra Tech is looking for an Apprentice to join our Geo-environmental Team, the role can be based in Bristol or Cardiff. The position will suit someone with a real interest in geology and contaminated land who enjoys a balance of office and site works and travelling.

What You'll Do

You’ll be working both in the office and site-based activities that could include:

  • Site based environmental monitoring such as water and soil sampling
  • Site based support for our ground investigation projects
  • Preparing information and undertaking assessments to support environmental desk study appraisals and subsequent assessments
  • Environmental data entry and management, becoming familiar with industry data formats including software packages for the management of geotechnical and Geo-environmental data
  • Geological appraisal
  • Working individually (with supervision) or as part of a site team
  • Helping prepare factual reports


Training Outcome

Successful completion of this course will enable you to confidently advance in this industry. You could progress your skills further by training as a chartered geologist/scientist.
