Full Job Description

Devon Wildlife Trust is a successful and dynamic charity with a commercial arm, Devon Wildlife Consultants (DWC). DWC are looking for a Consultancy Administrator to join our busy and friendly commercial consultancy team. We provide a range of commercial services including wildlife surveys and assessment, developer support, training, and advice to businesses and landowners.

We are a growing business, and this role is required to oversee the smooth running of the office and deliver effective and efficient administrative processes for the team. Essentially you will free up the ecologists' time to allow them to focus on delivering services, so it may not be the right opportunity for you if you are looking to start your career in ecological consultancy.

The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative skills, attention to detail and a passion for client service. You will be confident speaking to clients daily and, where necessary, be assertive enough to deal with debt chasing. You will apply your proven organisational skills to ensure finance tasks are completed efficiently, accurately and on time, collating regular marketing updates and e-newsletters, and assisting with managing the team bat survey schedule and contractors. We are looking for a team player who thrives on a busy and varied workload.

This is a part-time (22.5 hour per week) permanent post based at Aldens Court. We can offer some flexibility in the number of hours up to 30 hours per week. We would like the successful candidate to work from the office at least two days a week.

We welcome candidates of all backgrounds and abilities who meet the essential criteria for this role. To achieve our vision, we need more people, and more diverse people, on nature's side. We are committed to developing an inclusive and diverse organisation, in which everyone feels supported, valued, and able to be their full selves.
