Full Job Description
Reporting to the Service Desk Team Leader within the Technology Team. In the Service Desk Analyst role, you will be responsible for receiving and logging all first-line technical queries and requests on the service management tool and offering direct support to internal customers for 1st & 2nd line incidents. The role is also responsible for the maintenance and management of technology assets. Though a home-based role, you will be required at times to visit our distribution and repair centre. The centre is currently located in Northampton. Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact, providing local and remote users with technical support & requests.
- Provide IT Support to the organisation.
- Resolve IT incidents and service requests.
- IT equipment repair
- Maintain asset register.
Direct experience of a service desk. - Good understanding of Microsoft technologies
- Good understanding of software applications.
- Understanding of computer hardware repair.
