We are delighted to support an Outstanding day and residential special school in Eastleigh, catering to boys aged 10-16 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, including ADHD, Autism, and challenging behaviour. We are currently seeking a compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join their dedicated team starting this September, on a full-time basis. Role

• Collaborate closely with class teachers to support learning and behaviour development
• Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual pupil needs
• Encourage pupils to develop self-esteem, resilience, and confidence
• Assist in delivering creative, structured lessons that balance challenge and support
• Monitor and record pupil progress in partnership with teaching staff

• Experience or backgrounds in education, support work, sports, or psychology are welcome
• Excellent communication skills, patience, and empathy
