Full Job Description
- To ensure that all direct reports adhere to the Company Health & Safety policies/standards at all times
- To ensure that all department activity is performed in accordance with company procedures and client instructions
- To take ownership of daily and weekly productivity targets and ensure that they are met
- To ensure that Goods In is managed to the highest accuracy level
- To ensure that cold-chain and controlled drug/high value disciplines are adhered to at all times
- To encourage continuous improvement in all areas of contract operations
- To ensure that all operations are in line with MHRA and GDP standards including maintaining excellent standards of housekeeping
- To ensure that errors identified are recorded and fed back to individuals involved with corrective action taken if required
- To ensure that the 'Rec Report' is managed on a daily basis
- To ensure that stock is received to the clients spec and within agreed timescales
- To ensure that all staff are sufficiently trained to maximise accuracy and productivity and training SOPs are completed and recorded on the training database
- To ensure that operatives only use equipment for which they have been trained
- To support and monitor all contract operatives in the continuous development of their skills
- To conduct regular performance reviews and at least once annually conduct a performance appraisal with each contract operative
- To take ownership of the daily and weekly budget ensuring that they are completed accurately and in a timely manner
- To manage departments holidays, sickness and absence to ensure quality is maintained
- To communicate effectively with all contract operatives and other departments
- To carry out effective return to work interviews for every occasion of sickness in line with the Company Procedure
- To discipline staff in line with the Company Discipline and Grievance Procedure
- To plan resource to meet the financial and commercial needs of Alloga UK, and it's clients and customers
- To recruit staff in accordance with the Company Procedure, gaining the appropriate authorisation
- To ensure department meets the required housekeeping standards
- To deliver regular briefings to all staff
- To monitor staff appearance, ensuring that the company uniform is worn and is clean and in presentable condition together with the wearing and displaying of a valid identity pass
- To ensure that all accidents and near misses are reported immediately to the Contract and H & S Managers
- To carry out any reasonable requests as determined by Management
- Comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures and Training Manuals in order to ensure activities are performed in compliance with relevant requirements of GDP, GMP (as applicable) and any ISO certifications held by the company.
- To role model behaviours in line with the company's Guiding Principles
Sound knowledge of Alloga UK Systems - WMS, SOP, and Quality - Good PC skills with knowledge of Microsoft Packages
- Excellent communicator at all levels

- Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a warehouse or similar environment
- Sound Knowledge of GDP
- A good understanding of Company Policies and Procedures
- Trained in all relevant SOP's in 3 months Key Working Relationships
