We are seeking a highly motivated and organised, field-based Agricultural Sales Representative to work with our dynamic team at our BARNARD CASTLE Country Store. This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about serving and supporting the Rural and Agricultural industry and is a driven and customer-focused sales professional with a passion for agriculture and retail. We're looking for a Sales Executive to join our team and help us grow our feed and retail business by getting up farm drives and building strong relationships and delivering tailored solutions to our customers.ABOUT USEvery day we provide rural and agricultural communities with the support they need to succeed. - Developing and growing profitable sales of feed and retail products within your territory
- Proactively acquiring new customers while nurturing existing relationships
- Managing a Sales Pipeline to identify and convert prospects
- Upselling products and services to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction
- Communicating effectively in person, by phone, and email to articulate product benefits
- Presenting products confidently and answering customer queries with expert knowledge
- Negotiating pricing options that align with customer budgets while maximizing margins
- Adhering to Company and Group policies and procedures, including but not limited to those relating to Safety, Health and Environmental.
- Ensuring that all relevant legislation and approved codes of practice, are adhered to in respect of ongoing compliance, including but not limited to UFAS, FIAS, & NOPS assurance schemes.

- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build rapport and understand customer needs

- Detailed product knowledge and a passion for agriculture and retail

- Advanced selling skills, with the ability to turn enquiries into sales.
- Experience of driving growth in sales.
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends and make informed decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Experience of managing a sales ledger through the use of a CRM system Desirable Skills and Experiences
- Previous Agricultural experience.
- Amtra SQP qualification
- Competent IT skills and experience of the Microsoft office suite
- Previous experience of using D365
