As part of our continued growth, Babington is seeking a proactive and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our remote team. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven sales professional with a passion for apprenticeships, particularly in the professional service sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new apprenticeship starts and exceed KPIs across England
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through a solution-focused approach.
- Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, providing tailored apprenticeship solutions and excellent account management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of apprenticeship programmes.
- Advise clients on the Apprenticeship Levy and demonstrate the ROI of apprenticeships to support their business needs.
- Manage administrative tasks to ensure smooth learner sign-ups.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in apprenticeship sales
- Successful track record in exceeding sales targets.
- Strong relationship-building and consultative sales skills.
- Experience presenting to senior decision-makers, both in-person and remotely.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems (advantageous).
- Full UK driving license and ability to travel nationally, as needed.
