With a strong commitment to excellence and a focus on design and build projects, our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the growth and success of a forward-thinking company., As a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the commercial aspects of design and build projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for managing project costs, budgets, and procurement activities, ensuring the successful delivery of projects while maintaining profitability and compliance.,
- Manage all commercial aspects of design and build projects, from inception to completion.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
- Procure materials, subcontractors, and services in a cost-effective manner.
- Oversee contract administration, including variations and claims management.
- Provide commercial support to project teams and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Degree in Quantity Surveying is essential. - Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager role.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience in design and build projects.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in cost management software and MS Excel.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Full UK driving licence.
