Leo Lynch employs the best people, invests heavily in training and education, and ensures that the highest standards of health, safety and governance are applied throughout the organisation.About the role:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate / Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career QS to gain hands-on experience and develop a strong foundation in commercial project management.Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, estimates, and cost reports
  • Support the procurement of subcontractors, materials, and plant
  • Assist in the valuation of completed work and the preparation of interim and final accounts
  • Support the monitoring of project costs and variations, and contribute to cost control efforts
  • Assist with monthly cost/value reconciliation and forecasting
  • Support the preparation of project documentation, including contracts, tenders, and financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company procedures
  • Develop an understanding of industry standards and best practices

    A third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard software packages
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to travel to project sites within the UK and Ireland
