This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career QS to gain hands-on experience and develop a strong foundation in commercial project management.Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, estimates, and cost reports
- Support the procurement of subcontractors, materials, and plant
- Assist in the valuation of completed work and the preparation of interim and final accounts
- Support the monitoring of project costs and variations, and contribute to cost control efforts
- Assist with monthly cost/value reconciliation and forecasting
- Support the preparation of project documentation, including contracts, tenders, and financial reports
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company procedures
- Develop an understanding of industry standards and best practices
A third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline - Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard software packages
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to travel to project sites within the UK and Ireland
