Full Job Description

  • Contributing to the preparation of design deliverables to achieve the correct time / cost / quality balance for the project
  • Producing technical specifications, drawings and schedules with a MEICA focus Coordinating with other disciplines
  • Managing the delivery of your projects to budget and programme, including monthly reporting
  • Report writing and preparation of presentation materials
  • Working in close partnership with clients, representing the company in technical meetings

Candidate specification We are looking for a driven individual, keen to make a difference in the sector, take wide responsibilities and progress professionally.

  • Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent
  • Working towards Chartership
  • A background and working knowledge of water and wastewater treatment equipment including pumping systems, or similar experience in process & manufacturing industries
  • An understanding of the designer's responsibilities under the CDM regulations
  • Proactive approach, with an ability to adapt and prioritise
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in both oral presentations and written reports
  • Project Management experience is not essential but previous experience or a desire to develop these skills would be beneficial
  • Understanding of the use of design tools within a BIM environment
