Full Job Description

Location: Primarily based in Central London, with regular travel to our Peterborough office required - with flexibility to balance office and remote working in line with project needs. Are you an experienced Project Manager with a commitment to driving complex business change and delivering effective technology programmes? ABF Business Technology Services (BTS) are looking for a Senior Business Change & Technology Project Manager to coordinate a critical Treasury Management System implementation within a global organisation. As part of our internal Project Management as a Service (PMaaS) model, you'll play a pivotal role in enabling Group Treasury's vision to modernise its technology ecosystem-unlocking efficiencies, enhancing control, and delivering actionable insights. What You'll Be Doing: + Overseeing the entire process of implementing the Treasury Management System, while managing every stage of the project lifecycle + Working closely with stakeholders across BTS and Group Treasury to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables aligned to strategic objectives + Managing project plans, risks, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to governance frameworks + Coordinating cross-functional teams including third-party vendors, internal IT, and business stakeholders across global locations + Applying hybrid delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) to fit the needs of the project, blending structure with flexibility + Ensuring business change readiness, including stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and adoption planning + Ensuring the realisation of business benefits post-implementation and aligning project outcomes with the original business case + Supporting continuous improvement across the BTS PMaaS service, sharing best practices and mentoring others within the project delivery community, As part of your application, we ask you to answer some equal opportunities questions that help us to monitor how inclusive our recruitment process is and identify areas we can improve in. + Extensive experience delivering large-scale technology projects - A specialized focus on Treasury or Financial Systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Kyriba) would be a huge plus! + Deep understanding of both business change and IT delivery within complex, federated organisations + Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders, including C-level, with effective communication, influencing, and negotiation skills + Practical experience managing budgets, project governance, benefits realisation, and programme planning + Solid experience using blended project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) + Experience managing geographically dispersed teams and third-party suppliers + High levels of adaptability, problem-solving ability, and a pragmatic mindset when dealing with ambiguity or shifting priorities + Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, and collaboration platforms
