IT Portfolio Manager A highly regarded International Financial Services & Fund Management Company has an immediate requirement for a'senior IT Portfolio Manager. The Senior IT portfolio Manager will responsible for managing a range of IT programmes and sub-projects, some of which are being rolled out at different sites across the company's different sites in The UK, Europe and Asia They will act as a key interface between non-it senior management and the different project and programme leaders. This role is primarily offered on a remote working basis, with the Senior IT Portfolio Manager being required to attend meetings at the company's Londo offices on a very occasional basis (Provision can also be made for those that prefer onsite work). While this role is initially offered on a 6 months basis, there is a strong probability of it being extended well beyond this date. For UK Residents, please note that the role is outside IR35 Please note - As this is quite an urgent requirement, and we need someone that can start within 2 weeks of a job offer. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate candidates with a 4-week (Or longer) notice period. Responsibilities of Role

• Help devise IT Portfolio strategy from a Technology Delivery standpoint, and work with the CTO and Global Heads of Products to service the business and relevant stakeholders accordingly
• Leading the analysis phase of new programmes
• Building technology propositions by working on initial requirements with the Senior Stakeholders and leading the Analysis Phase.
• Managing Budget Process and approvals etc.
• Supporting, coaching and advising Programme Leads and Program Managers to help drive success
• Identify and assesses all risk factors and mitigation actions across different programs
• Maintain efficient programme deliver standards on a company wide basis - This includes regularly reviewing the performances external vendors as reported by PM's/Delivery leads
• Regularly report to CTO and Global Heads of Product, and Global Head of Change (Jo) on the status of IT programmes and projects
Essential Candidate Requirements
• 10+ years' experience in Project/Programme management - This should include experience managing multiple projects/programmes
• At least 3 years recent experience within the Funds/Financial services sector ideally, Alternatively, time spent in a Highly Regulated Industry that is heavily audited
• Lean Portfolio Management and Agile Delivery Environment Exposure - At least 5 years
• A strong working knowledge of widely used Financial Services Sector Applications and experience in delivering the implementation, upgrading and/or migration of same
• 3rd Level Degree in Computer Science/IT, other area relevant to this role or appropriate equivalent
• PM certification (PMP or PRINCE2) or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and influencing capabilities.
• Excellent presentation skills and communication skills.
• Strong relationship management skills.
